This risk can be minimized by good communication between the referring and receiving providers, careful evaluation and management, anticipation of complications, and a well-equipped and well-trained team. This two-day course provides a comprehensive approach to clinical issues related to neonatal and pediatric transport.

  2. Outline management options for specific clinical disease states
  3. Discuss effects of the transport environment on the patient and provider
ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Participants will self-report an increase in their knowledge related to the current guidelines of practice for specialty transport teams.
  2. Participants will self-report one change their will make to their practice or performance as a result of this educational events
