 April 29, 2023  7:00 AM—1:30 PM EST

Over the past 20 years, rheumatology has witnessed tremendous therapeutic advances. Progress in treatment with traditional small molecules and the rise of biologic therapy offers improved outcomes for rheumatic disease patients. With advances in efficacy comes increasing therapeutic complexity and the need to avoid harm.

In this two-day Yale Symposium, we will bring together a faculty of internationally recognized experts to discuss risk mitigation for rheumatic disease patients. We will also consider the needs of special populations such as underserved, pregnant, and peri-operative patients and the role of vaccination.
