Overview

The 3rd Annual UCSF Interprofessional Addiction Conference aims to increase the core competency of medical teams in the inpatient and outpatient settings to improve care for patients who use drugs. There is a significant gap between need and ability of medical teams to effectively diagnose and treat substance use disorders across the care continuum inpatient and outpatient. This conference will increase skills in diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of common substance use disorders through didactics taught by an interprofessional team of local addiction experts, as well as small group discussions to apply this knowledge to patient care. This is a hybrid conference, attendees can be in person or virtual.
