Prep for American Board of Anesthesiology Exams
This course is designed to fully prepare you for the American Board of Anesthesiology certification and recertification examinations. Instructional videos focus on anatomy, physics, mathematics, pharmacology, anesthesia complications and the applicability of different anesthetic techniques to various clinical situations and patient groups. It is designed for training and practicing anesthesiologists preparing for Basic or Advanced ABA exams. The course will help you to better:
- Compare and contrast techniques, equipment, and drugs used in anesthesiology and describe implications for clinical practice
- Discuss the physiologic aspects of various organ systems, their relationship to anesthetic administration, and support of patients
- Review important topics in the general competencies of medical knowledge, patient care, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, practice-based learning and improvement and systems-based practice, as they relate to the practice of anesthesiology
- Pass American Board of Anesthesiology certification and recertification examinations and incorporate current guidelines into daily practice
