Northwestern Medicine Updates in Neurology Symposium Friday, September 6 | 8am – 4pm
This neurology symposium will provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of contemporary, clinically relevant content on the care of patients with neurological disorders. We will cover a broad range of topics including neurological manifestations of COVID-19, multiple sclerosis, migraines, epilepsy, neuromuscular disease, dizziness and more. Recent advances in the field will be covered and their direct clinical relevance will be highlighted.

Program objectives
After attending this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize and apply evidence-based treatments for neurological subspecialties including headaches, multiple sclerosis, memory disorders, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuro-oncology, stroke, and oto-neurology.
- Recognize and apply the fundamental basis and modalities of neurotherapeutics in neurological subspecialties.
- Review current controversies in the care of patients within neurological subspecialties.
- Identify indications for use of newer medications and treatment modalities in neurological subspecialties.
- Examine the use for genetics in neurological subspecialties including movement disorders and epilepsy.
