Release date: December 1, 2017

For 40 years, the Society of Computed Body Tomography and Magnetic Resonance has featured the brightest minds in radiology presenting the hottest topics and latest advances in Body CT and MR.  We celebrate this landmark anniversary with the largest Annual Course ever, containing approximately 40 hours of content from almost 90 experts!  This activity contains enough credits to meet the entire Self Assessment requirement for ABR Maintenance of Certification (MOC).  Additionally, the SCBT-MR 40th Annual Course meets ACR CME requirements for accreditation in both CT and MR!

Topics: Multi Energy CT, Abdominal, Bowel, Pelvis, Technical Advances, Liver, Hot Topics, Gadolinium Deposition, Kidney, Pancreas, Thoracic, Cardiac and Interventional Imaging, as well as and multiple workshops.

Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance (MR) imaging are finding evergrowing roles in the evaluation of a wide range of conditions. Recent advances in hardware and software have created a need for Radiologists to receive training in the optimization of image acquisition, data management, technique choices and the interpretation of images
acquired through advanced technologies. The mission of the Society of Computed Body Tomography and Magnetic Resonance (SCBT-MR) is to improve patient care through the appropriate use of CT and MR, by fostering innovative research and educating radiologists. This enduring material will consist of highly focused presentations and workshops in the areas
of Body CT and Body MR. A wide range of technological, practice, political, and imaging topics will be covered, concerning multiple parts of the body, organs and types of pathology. The goal of the faculty is to provide presentations that address new developments, update standard topics and focus upon evolving issues in Radiology.

Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:
1.Discuss the effect of AI and Machine Learning in the radiology field
2.Identify the most recent updates on efficient MR protocols
3.Provide updates into new and evolving topics in the area of Body CT and Body MR
4.Evaluate the different viewpoints to controversial topics in the field like CTE vs MRE for IBD or CT vs MR for Evaluating Renal Masses
