The Society of Computed Body Tomography and Magnetic Resonance (SCBT-MR) is now known as the Society for Advanced Body Imaging (SABI). This new  name captures the Society’s forty year legacy of leading innovation into practice. Their continuing mission is to improve patient care by piloting state of the art technology, protocols and techniques into the body imaging profession. The continuing evolution of imaging hardware and software requires Radiologists to receive frequent training in the optimization of image acquisition, data management, techniques and interpretation. The coronavirus pandemic has only exacerbated this need, while reducing the avenues for live education and training. This enduring material responds to the challenges presented in today’s climate, with over one hundred highly focused multimodality body imaging presentations and workshops. A wide range of technological, anatomic, quality, safety, practice and career development subjects will be covered. The goal of the faculty is to share innovations that focus upon new developments, update standard topics and address evolving issues throughout the imaging practice.

Target Audience and Objectives

The educational design of this activity addresses the needs of radiologists, technologists and other physicians involved in the treatment of patients requiring the use of imaging.
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:
1. Outline updates into new and evolving topics in the area of Body Imaging
2. Recognize the timing and ethics of artificial intelligence in Radiology
3. Summarize the impact of leadership, mentoring and organization on radiology
4. List the latest technology research for future applications and quality in radiology
5. Explain how to bring innovation into practice
