Effective leadership of critically ill patients with liver disease necessitates the participation of healthcare professionals from various fields. Recognizing this demand, Cleveland Clinic has created the Interprofessional Approach to Liver Disease, a educational program that addresses the multiple aspects of physicians, nurses, and physician assistants. This program provides the most recent strategies and evidence-based guidance on managing the most complex issues, all of which is provided by a faculty that is expert in the field.
The Interprofessional Approach to Liver Disease promotes collaboration and interdisciplinary care between healthcare professionals that care for patients with liver disease. By combining doctors, nurses, and medical aides, this program provides a comprehensive and enriching educational experience.
