The clinical care of patients with thyroid disorders continues to change and develop. The USC Peter A. Singer Thyroid Symposium offers an essential update in the management of thyroid disease. Key topics will be presented focusing on the current state of thyroid medicine, using didactic and panel sessions, along with audience questions that incorporate evidenced-based strategies and forward-looking perspectives, emphasizing practical solutions to complex clinical scenarios. In this 2026 edition, key areas are highlighted for specialists and general providers alike, from key aspects of new national guidelines to selecting the best imaging; from managing thyroid emergencies to right-sizing thyroid cancer assessment in older patients. Whether the clinical scenarios are straightforward or complex, this symposium provides up-to-date solutions to complex clinical problems and enables providers to offer more personalized care and improve outcomes.
This year, the Thyroid Symposium will again be a hybrid program, offering options for in-person or virtual attendance.
