Continuing Education Company has been organizing its Primary Care Conference Series for over 30 years. The 8th Annual National Hospitalist Conference is designed to provide attendees with the information and skills to improve the care of hospitalized patients. The conference’s focus is on the practical management of problems commonly encountered in hospital medicine. An emphasis will be placed on recent advances, up-to-date practices, and guidelines for inpatient care. This year the 8th Annual National Hospital Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs, Florida, November 18 – 21, 2024.

In addition to this conference, we are also hosting a Point-of-Care Ultrasound Workshop on November 19! In partnership with Hospital Procedures Consultants, the workshop will allow ample hands-on instruction, individualized instruction, and individualized education with the goal that every participant develops the knowledge and skills necessary to begin performing these diagnostic bedside ultrasounds upon returning to work.

Program Objectives
As a result of this educational activity, participants should be better able to:
• Provide an accurate diagnostic assessment for a broad range of disorders commonly seen in the inpatient setting.

• Formulate comprehensive evidence-based interventions and treatment strategies that will lead to the reduction of modifiable risk factors and improved outcomes.
