This program provides an up-to-date review of the diagnosis and management of acid-base, fluid, and electrolyte balance disorders. Emphasis is placed on challenging issues commonly faced by nephrology clinicians. Lectures cover the pathophysiology, diagnosis, management, and treatment of acid-base, fluid, and electrolyte balance disorders and present relevant clinical scenarios. The format encourages active interactive between participants and faculty.
The American Society of Nephrology (ASN) Kidney Week 2024 will feature a session on “Acid-Base, Fluid, and Electrolyte Balance Disorders: Challenging Issues for Clinicians.” This session is scheduled for October 23, 2024, from 07:00 AM to 06:00 PM at the Convention Center
