Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:

  1. Define select (and controversial) forefoot, midfoot, hindfoot, and ankle disorders (congenital, acquired, and traumatic), and formulate a strategic evidence-based management plan to address them.
  2. Interpret the internal algorithmic approach required to assess select forefoot/midfoot/hindfoot/ankle disorders through multiple case analyses with positive and negative outcomes.
  3. Identify and apply surgical (and non-surgical) solutions to complications arising from negative case outcomes in order to develop successful salvage strategies.
  4. Collect multiple faculty opinions to further analyze, support, or reject individual lecturer opinions on defining and managing of assigned topics.
