COURSE DESCRIPTION
This program will focus on providing the attendees an update on the latest aspects of ophthalmic best practices across the field, research updates for recently approved therapies for ophthalmic disease and updates regarding pipeline therapies that may soon be available.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
• Identify and discuss the most recent techniques in the management of ocular conditions.
• Apply current research to improve diagnosis and management of patients with a variety of ocular diseases in the general ophthalmology clinic.
• Evaluate the benefits of preventive medicine in the management of degenerative ocular disease.
• Examine the efforts used to mitigate the severity of, or to regenerate the function lost due to degenerative ocular disease.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended for the comprehensive ophthalmologist, ophthalmic subspecialties, ophthalmology residents, fellows and optometrists.
