This course will provide practicing radiologists the knowledge and information needed in routine practice to enhance early detection and will also discuss the role of imaging in screening. The oncological and non-oncological conditions included in this course are pancreatic cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, colon cancer, ovarian cancer, opportunistic screening and endometriosis.
Early detection mechanisms based on imaging are critical in instituting appropriate treatment strategies for various oncological and non-oncological conditions to improve patient outcome and survival. This course will provide practicing radiologists the knowledge and information needed in routine practice to enhance early detection and will also discuss the role of imaging in screening. The oncological and non-oncological conditions included in this course are pancreatic cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, colon cancer, ovarian cancer, opportunistic screening and endometriosis.
Objectives: After completing the material in this article, the learner should be able to:
