VOLT 7th LAUNCH, the 7th International Congress on Vital Monitoring & Ultrasound, is scheduled for January 22-24, 2026, at the Hotel Universo in Rome, Italy. Chaired by Prof. Daniele De Luca, the congress focuses exclusively on point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and advanced vital monitoring in neonatal and pediatric critical care. Building on the legacy of previous editions, VOLT 2026 is a global event that brings together experts from over 40 countries to share high-academic-standard research, clinical innovations, and advanced educational sessions.
Learning Objectives
Based on the program content, participants will be able to:
-
Apply new techniques in lung ultrasound, including speckle tracking and evaluation of pleural and diaphragmatic strain.
-
Integrate Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) with lung ultrasound in clinical practice.
-
Implement the latest guidelines and consensus on quantitative lung ultrasound and vascular access training.
-
Utilize combined monitoring approaches, such as integrated Vexus, and novel methods like lung elastography.
-
Evaluate and monitor lung mechanics, including transpulmonary pressure and EADi-based pleural pressure estimation.
-
Manage critical care scenarios using advanced monitoring in the delivery room, ECMO cannulation/monitoring, and advanced neurological assessments.
-
Understand the administrative, billing, and legal frameworks associated with point-of-care ultrasound in the US and EU.
Target Audience
- The congress selects speakers based on their research credentials and proven excellence in teaching, ensuring an engaging and impactful educational experience for all attendees. VOLT also serves as a platform for the presentation of original research. Through oral presentations, participants share their studies and clinical innovations, making the congress an essential annual meeting for professionals advancing the use of ultrasound and vital monitoring in both clinical and investigative settings.
- Best for Neonatologists, Pediatric Intensivists, Pediatricians, and Critical Care Physicians.
