The annual Mayo Clinic Neurology in Clinical Practice course brings together a multidisciplinary faculty from across Mayo Clinic’s three campuses in Rochester, Minnesota; Jacksonville, Florida; and Scottsdale, Arizona.

This course provides a comprehensive, evidence-based review of recent advances in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of common neurological conditions encountered in clinical practice. Designed to address everyday challenges in neurology, the course features a didactic format incorporating interactive polling, video case presentations, and question-and-answer panel discussions.

Target Audience

This course is designed for any provider who sees patients with neurologic diseases, including neurologists, psychiatrists, and family medicine.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize red flags in common neurologic disorders
  • Discuss factors influencing therapeutic decisions in migraine management
  • Cite the importance of palliative care in neurologic illnesses
  • Describe the impact of recent trials on standard acute ischemic stroke care
