The 9th Annual Breast Health Symposium is a full day multidisciplinary live CME program. A panel of nationally and locally recognized expert faculty will be presenting.  It is widely attended by breast health providers from various disciplines from the NY metro area and a select national audience.

This course seeks to improve the multidisciplinary knowledge base of learners on the breast treatment team. There is also an emphasis on navigating the evolving treatment and supportive care recommendations in breast cancer care.

Educational Objectives

After participating in this activity, clinicians should be able to:

  1. Describe the dermatologic effects of breast cancer treatments and how to ameliorate them
  2. Describe the role of HRT in breast cancer risk, options for management of menopausal symptoms in patients with breast cancer, and the options for fertility preservation in patients with breast cancer
  3. Describe the role of prehabilitation, lymphedema screening and management, and cognitive interventions in improving the quality of life of patients with breast cancer
